My students are everything to me. I believe it is my place to not only teach them to the best of my abilities, but I must also provide them with an environment that is safe, welcoming, and as stress-free as possible so that they can put all of their effort toward learning while they are in my class.
As a world language teacher, also I understand the importance of culture in our ever-growing and changing world. Promoting acceptance of others is something that I stand for as a teacher but also as a human being. Everyone has their own skills, talents, backgrounds, and experiences that contribute to who they are as a person, and all of those things should be cherished.
Technology is something that allows me to do all of this, and so much more, in my classroom. However, just like all the things that can change in a classroom, technology changes as well. Which brings me to an idea, and a sentence, that holds a special place in my heart.
