Welcome to my final portfolio for English 409W, Teaching English in the Secondary Schools. I took this class at Eastern Michigan University as part of a program to obtain an English Language Arts teaching endorsement. ENGL 409W is a writing-intensive course for secondary English education majors that focuses on appropriate methods and materials for teaching language arts in grades 7-12. Special attention is given to lesson planning, evaluation techniques and classroom management.
